Our Team

Dave Dahl
Founder		   Born and raised in Minnesota, Dave as a child witnessed a tornado and saw its resulting power.  He was both frightened and fascinated and decided then to learn everything he could about the weather.  Dave subsequently earned his degree in meteorology from Florida State University and then returned to Minnesota to join 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS in 1977.  In his 30+ years of being on-the-air, Dave has built and been responsible for one of the most responsive and accurate weather tracking operations in the industry—and a preferred and trusted source for complete weather information.  Dave’s motivation to build TIWI Weather is grounded on this personal mission as a trusted advisor.

Andy Dahl
CEO		   Andy brings years of digital advertising and weather experience to the TiWi team. He was instrumental in the development of the unique and dynamic weather tools that TiWi provides today. According to Andy, "Advertisers are looking for more from their online advertising; they want their ad to be seen, but also interactive and engaging; the Weather WindowTM does that and places the ad in a non-traditional space on the web site making the advertisement truly unavoidable.”
